More a woman consumes trans greasiness, she risks more to be reached of a breast cancer, according to researchers of the national institute of health and the medical research (INSERM) 1, in France.
The survey has been led by 363 women affected by breast cancer and the 703 witnesses that did not stand some. All these women were part of a cohort of 25 000 women at which one had made a blood withdrawal. The researchers measured the rates of trans greasiness in the blood samples of all participants.
Compared to the women who had the lowest rates of greasiness trans, those that had the most elevated rates saw to double their risk to suffer from a breast cancer, the results indicate.
The women should reduce their consumption of food transformed so much that the agroalimentary industry will not have taken the necessary measures to reduce the content in trans greasiness of the products of the trade, recommend the authors of the survey.
The industrial trans fat is formed when a plant is partially hydrogenated oil during the process of preparation of food. They are present in a variety of food products transformed.
The kindness of the lignans
Otherwise, the consumption of fruits, vegetables and cereals rich in lignans (natural phytoestrogens) would permit to increase the rate of survival of the women affected by a breast cancer, according to a survey américaine2.
Besides, the lignans would have the same protective effect against the breast cancer that the isoflavones of soy, according to the results of a survey published in French 20073.
The seeds of linen (but not their oil) are, from afar, the best food source of lignans: they contain some by about 86 mg portion of 30 g. One also finds among others some of the substantial quantities in the breads of whole grains, the fishings, the strawberries, the oranges, the gourd, the broccoli.
