3 is to launch the iPhone in the UK in the near future, after many months of speculation that it will start offering the device from Apple.
CEO Kevin Russell times that the iPhone will be available to 3 customers in the future, but a definitive date has not been determined.
Now Director of Sales and Marketing Marc Aller told TechRadar that on 3 iPhone is not too far:
We expect very soon the iPhone, we are currently in discussions with Apple and trying to get an agreement in place. We are confident and look forward to[giving him up to 3 clients], so watch this space.
Stick or twist
Aller will not mind whether it would be offering a three iPhone 3Gs , or the latest version, which is widely expected to be announced by Steve Jobs on June 7, .
But he did say it is unlikely that the iPhone will appear in the three before then, in June is not far away.
He also confirmed that the three would obviously be interested in the latest iteration of the iPhone, as he will offer the best facilities for its customers, stressing that because of the strength of 3 offers wireless data network can offer the highest quality work with other operators.
