The physical activity curbed more beneficial than the intense exercise
To make a little physical activity of moderate intensity could be more beneficial for the cardiac health that to make a lot of intense exercise. Of the less at the obese people, sustains a survey américaine1.
The researchers of the Duke university led a clinical test by 240 topics during six months. These made the plumpness and had a bad profile lipidique (cholesterol), two factors that make increase the cardiovascular unrests.
The participants have been divided in four groups, according to the intensity of the physical activity,: a lot of vigorous exercise, little vigorous exercise, little moderate exercise or not of exercise of the all.
According to the results, the rates of LDL (” bad cholesterol”) and triglycérides decreased at the participants of the group who practiced ” a little moderate exercise”. The researchers didn’t observe this effect among the subjects of the two groups that practiced more vigorous exercises. Their rate of HDL (” good cholesterol”) increased however, they return. However, the rise of the rates of HDL would protect against the cardiovascular unrests.
The rates of HDL of the topics that practiced ” a little moderate exercise” were also more elevated, but in a least measure. On their side, the inactive topics saw their blood rate of bad cholesterol increasing.
The intensity of the exercises was adapted to the cardiac and respiratory capacities of each of the participants and could vary therefore between two people of the same group. But on average, the topics that made a lot of vigorous exercise ran about 32 km per week and those that made a ” little vigorous exercise”, 12 km per week. The participants of the group ” a little moderate exercise” walked about 12 km per week, either the equivalent of two daily walks of about 15 minutes each, accomplished of a valiant step.
The beneficial effects of the exercises on the profile lipidique of the topics were even manifest two weeks after the stop of all physical activity, underline the authors of the survey.
