This is the 4th electric shaver that I have owned and the 2nd rotary type. I have owned the top of the line shaver from Panasonic, as well as mid-range units from Braun and Remington.
The same thing has happened every time in the past. I give it two to three months and then I am back to a disposable razor that can shave closer, with less hassle, and less irritation. The number one reason each time for going back to a disposable was how the electric shaver failed to handle my neck hair. None of them seemed to be able to the job no matter what and then the hassle on the units I had that had an expensive cleaning unit made it a pain to use.
Well I got the bug again to try an electric razor one more time and ended up purchasing this unit. And now after having it for a while I have to say that this is the best electric shaver that I have had. First and foremost it can handle my neck. It can’t get it all in one pass, but the others couldn’t do it no matter how many times I tried! Second, being able to just rinse the head under the sink is wonderful. No more cleaning systems that are bulky and expensive with the continual cost of the cleaning solution. Third, is that it is a surprisingly close shave. I kind of expected a 5 o’clock shadow by noon with a rotary shaver, but that isn’t the case here. It is very close to a shave with a razor, NO KIDDING!
It isn’t the perfect electric razor, but it is more than worth the price. There are only two things that stick out with me that could have been done better and both are related to charging. First, it takes 8 hours to charge the unit from being almost dead, with no quick charge capabilities. You can get around it by just using it plugged in when you are in the middle of the charge. Second, is that there is no battery level indicator. It would be nice to have some sort of idea of how much of a charge you have left.
In my book, these are just two minor issues that aren’t that important to me, but keep me from giving it 5 stars. I have and will continue to recommend this unit to friends.

I bought one of these six months ago and it works as well as any of the more expensive Norelco Shavers I’ve owned over the years (quite a number of them).
The more expensive ones charge faster, and might give information about how much usage time remains, but aside from that they have essentially no advantages.
I have a much more expensive one that lasted about 2.5 years and stopped holding a charge. Out of curiosity I took the thing apart (requires a small hex screwdriver), with the hope that I could replace the rechargeable batteries myself. What I found inside was essentially a very cheaply made product containing very cheap components (and this was one of the Norelco Razors made in Holland, that cost around $100). All the moving parts are made of plastic, and the batteries were two AA NiCads soldered in place. Some of the newer and more expensive Norelcos now have Lithium batteries. Anyone familiar with Lithium batteries knows that although they charge quickly and hold a lot of charge, when new, they degrade quickly and can become unusable in as little as a year or two.
Based upon what I saw inside of the more expensive razor, I would treat all Norelcos as disposable items not expected to last more than a couple of years, 3 at the outside. This is not your grandfather’s Norelco razor; cost and quality have been engineered OUT. Given this, I’d go with a cheap one like this one I’m rating, because the function is essentially identical, and when it dies on you, you can toss it without feeling like you got ripped off.
The (replaceable) heads on this razor will last about as long as the razor itself (Norelco says to change them in a year but they will last a lot longer than that with acceptable performance). Anyone who has bought replacement Norelco heads knows that they cost almost as much as this razor, which is another additional expense you can avoid if you buy this razor then toss it when either the internal batteries, or the heads, die on you.

This shaver provides a fairly standard Norelco (i.e. 3 head rotary shaver) shave — however, definitely not as fast or smooth as the more expensive norelco models. This product is really only for the norelco (rotary) shaver fan, that cant afford a more expensive model. Anyone else should look elsewhere.
As compared to, say, your typical single head Braun, to me at least, the Norelco models I have used (this is the second) seem to take a little longer to shave with, a little less powerful. I gather some like that the three heads contour to their face better or some such, but after years of experience, I still prefer the quicker shave of the traditional single head (non-rotary) shavers. I tend to think most electric shavers get you to the same closeness eventually, but some just take longer/more passes to do it, and the norelco’s seem slower.
As compared to my prior 4 or 5 year old (but more expensive) Norelco, this shaver takes a little longer to get the job done, and is a bit rougher on the face, even after giving my face a few weeks to “adjust” as they say. Its not radically different then my older Norelco, but definitely somewhat slower/rougher.
The thing feels generally solid enough and comfortable in the hand. The pop up trimmer seems reasonably solid, useful for trimming longer hairs, but useless for detail work. It will trim my small sideburns, but I 100% need a straight edge to get the remaining smaller hairs off. (Trying to clean up the side burn area with the rotary heads just does not work.) The power cord is a bit odd – you really need to shove it in the slot *hard* or it doesnt stay. Once I got used to it, was ok.
The plug is also a little on the large side, which could be an issue for traveling, though not that bad really.
Potential issue: I am not sure about this model, but many norelco shavers, the battery cannot be changed easily because its welded in. At $40-50 for the razor, I suppose that is not a huge issue, but its not a plus factor either.
This razor does hold a charge for quite a while, its good for several shaves without a recharge. However, there is no charge indicator at all. There is a green light that comes on when the razer is on, and another green light when its plugged in, but nothing changes as the battery gets low that I can see. You know it needs a charge when the motor starts to slow. A 5 or 10 minute emmergency charge is fine, so its not a great problem.
Verdict: decent shaver, but no great bargain at $40-50. Spending more money or buying something different is recommended unless you love the norelco shave and this is your price range.
**Editted Verdict: Well, I just bought a much more expensive Brawn series 5 razor…after a week of use and multiple side by side tests…have to say, this cheap razor fares vastly better then I thought it would, actually beating the Brawn in some respects. For day to day shaving…it may (gasp) actually be a little better then the Series 5. Could be I was biased against it because I knew it was cheap. The price is also now more like $25-30 then the $49.99 my wife paid, so its VERY cheap.

I bought this razor to replace a 6 month old Architec. The architec was one of the poorest performing razors I have ever owned in over 40 years. So I bought this razor with very low expectations.
I was totally amazed by the 7310. It is so quiet the bathroom fan almost drowns it out, but the cut is AMAZING. I have had seven Norelco shavers so when I tried this unit, I couldn’t believe it. I can shave in 30 seconds instead of the 7 minutes for the Architec. It is close, comfortable, no heavy pressing to get a close cut, and best of all is the price. The whole new shaver was cheaper than buying just the replacement head for the Architec. And the 7310 is EASY to clean. Flip the head, flush under running water for a few seconds, and let it dry. No static whisker cling like the Architec. I’d give it six stars if I could.
Thanks, Norelco

After having this for 6 months and it being my first electric shaver, I am thoroughly impressed by it. I use to be a manual razor using Mach 3′s and Quattro’s but after trying this, its pretty much all I use daily unless I need a really close shave.
It feels like quality despite the price! Very solid and sturdy.

Rating:
I just received the Invicta Men’s II Collection chronograph stainless steel watch yesterday and was a little disappointed. It would’ve been a great piece to have but didn’t quite live up to my expectations. At first glance, the watch is beautiful. It has a nice weight to it and the bracelet feels exceptionally nice. The thickness of the watch is good but the one that I got, the numbered outside bezel of the watch was misaligned. The bezel is fixed so there’s no way that you can adjust this yourself in order to make it line up correctly with the internal face of the watch. I expected a watch with such a high list price to not have quality issues as obvious as this (I didn’t pay the list price of course). I read about other Invicta watch reviews in Amazon after I purchased this watch and I was mainly concerned about the watch’s ability to accurately keep time. I tried to set up the time correctly and learn the basics of the watch to see if I can do a 24-hours test run on the watch to see if it’s up to par with accuracy. It was able to pass the test but unfortunately, I had to figure out a lot of the watch’s functionality and adjustments myself since this one only came with a single page, photocopied, all-in-one instruction page (not even a complete manual). I was wondering if I actually got a replica and not the real deal – I even looked it up at the Invicta website and it doesn’t seem to be listed anywhere there (maybe an old model). At the end of the day, the fact that the bezel was misaligned, I still didn’t feel comfortable giving it as a gift to someone so I decided to return it. I would’ve been glad to do an even exchange but when I submitted the request to Amazon, they were only able to do a refund. Oh well, I’ll try to wait to see if I can get another one for the original price I got it for. Right now, it seems that the price went up $10.00 more than what I originally paid for.
:: —–|| Update ||—– ::
Thanks to the review from C.P. from VA and I was able to get the bezel free. I’m still not too happy with the bezel’s craftsmanship (it has some play into it unlike the bezel from the Invicta Pro Diver that I got) but at least, it’s functional. I’ve played with watches in the same (original) price range as this watch and the bezel shouldn’t have as much play as it should. Overall, I like the watch enough that I’m willing to keep it but I don’t feel that the MSRP reflects the overall quality of the item that I got – the price that I paid for is more realistic from what I gather.

I bought this watch off Amazon because I wanted a nice looking watch and didn’t currently have one. I got it when it was still selling for $59.99 Some things people might want to know before they purchase.
At 44x13mm this watch certainly has a good amount of heft to it. It’s not a problem for me but if you don’t want a large watch then look elsewhere.
This watch is very classy looking and I am very satisfied with it’s appearance.
It comes with plenty of links for your sizing pleasure.
Yes as some reviewers noted, the instructions are 1 page and are just mostly just illustrations showing you how to use the functions of this watch. This also is not a problem for me because this is not a complex watch and the illustrations show you everything you need to know.
The reason I give this watch 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with the bezel that other reviewers have touched upon. I spent several minutes playing with it and here is the deal: Once you take the little plastic sheet off the face the bezel can rotate counter clockwise in clicks all the way around the face. The problem is that it is mis-alligned. The whole thing is off by half a click. It’s not really noticeable unless you are really looking for it and I probably wouldn’t have noticed it if the other reviewers hadn’t noticed it, but I wanted the triangle on the bezel to be at the 12 o clock position and it is between 2 clicks. And yes the bezel has some play to it as others have noted.
I’m still keeping the watch because it’s hardly noticeable and I like the everything else about the watch. Overall I encourage people to look at this as a $60-$70 watch not a $400+ watch and it is a good value.

Rating:
I like watches, but I would never wear something that represents a month or more salary on my wrist. I look for watches that will survive the bangs that I always give them since my wrist seems to be right at door knob level, and my watch has a way of giving the knobs a good whack as I walk by. The Invicta watch looks good and has a nice heft and feel to it. Although I have not purchased an Invicta before, the line earns generally positive reviews and the free warranty extension by purchasing through Amazon helped my decision.
Pros
Looks great – have received lots of compliments
Seems to keep very accurate time – set against time.gov
Band is of sufficient size (with removable links) so it can fit almost any wrist
The watch was only $59.99
A free 4-year extension to the warranty
Nice feel on the wrist
Cons
The bezel is not as snug as it could be around the face – it diminishes the quality feel
Removing links to re-size took more time than with other watches I have owned
MSRP for value comparison is unreasonably high, but at a $60 to $70 price on Amazon, it is a good buy
The instruction sheet mentioned by other reviewers seems cheap, but the process is intuitive
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy another Invicta when a good deal appears.
Review by Brian A. Berenbach for Invicta Men’s 6621 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch
Rating:
After watching the presentations of Invicta on TV, i decided to get this watch because of its large size and very practical pricing. The watch is actually larger than i thought it would be, and about the most my wrist can handle. The main reason i got it was that i am far sighted and wanted a nice looking watch where I would not have to put my reading glasses on to tell time. There is good and bad. The main dials i can see without glasses, as well as the day of the week and chronograph minutes. However, I cannot see the day of the month in the little window as it is too small. With my glasses on, of course, I can see everything perfectly.
Now here is the interesting part. The Invicta is a very impressive, albeit large, watch. When i went to the jewelry store to have some links taken out, the jeweler thought I had paid several hundred dollars for it, and my adult son estimated about $500; it holds its own very well in appearance with upscale watches (e.g. Breitling). When i tell people what i actually paid they are blown away, and i still can’t believe it, given the quality and appearance.
So the good is: very impressive, dressy and classy, and big, most cost effective, a nice gift.
the bad: big, may be too big for small wrists (not for a child), and if you have to wear reading glasses, you STILL won’t be able to see the day of the month without putting them on.
In summary: a very nice, albeit big, dress watch, that comes off as being worth hundreds of dollars. Glamour for the budget conscious.
Ah yes, for those who don’t know, if you register online you get a 5 year extended warranty. Also, the instructions downloaded from the web site are much nicer than those that are packed with the watcy.

I had been eyeing this watch for awhile now, but the only thing that kept me from buying it were all the reviews regarding the bezel of the watch, and how it was mis-aligned with the 12 o’clock mark at the top. Small detail some would say, but nonetheless, it probably would have bothered me just enough not to like it. In addition, Amazon was out of stock and was only offering this watch through different vendors, so I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning it with a 3rd party involved.
Luckily, I was checking out this watch again and saw that Amazon had some in stock!! (3 to be exact..) So I went ahead and decided to make the purchase..Good thing I did too because they ran out the next day!
The package came, and to my relief, the bezel was ALIGNED!! It does have some play to it as other reviewers have mentioned, but otherwise, I completely LOVE the watch. It is rather heavy, but I like my watches that way. I consider myself to have small wrists, and had to remove 6 links to get it to fit correctly. But the end result was a very fine looking watch added to my small collection.
