Question by Russell H: How is believing that men should have equal rights to women disturbing? How does masculism equal chauvinism?
It seems lots of feminist men and women, running around with the slogan: “feminism benefits men too!!” shout MISOGYNIST, or CHAUVINIST, every time a man is sceptical about feminism, or even mentions men’s rights around them. Aren’t they just acting they’re living in some Orwellian matriarchal society, where if men speak out for their rights, or doubt the supposed global benefits of feminism, then their prejudice pigs.

I hate patriarchy too, but unlike you I don’t endorse a matriarchy.

They want what benefits them and attempt to shout down everybody who they feel will harm their agenda. Did you hear about the recent shriekfest because of Naval endorsing Obama ?

What do you think? Answer below!

I can’t remember Orwell ever writing of a matriarchal society…in fact with “Big Brother”, I’d say he viewed the future as male-dominated…no? Maybe I’m wrong, it’s been years since I read Orwell.

Other than that I think you’re right, but exaggerating. Very few real women want a matriarchy.

Unfortunately, many people are still under the impression that women in the western world still don’t have equality. As long as that brainwashed concept exists, endorsing men’s rights will still get you a ‘misogynist’ label.

Equality goes both ways, and that’s the painful truth.

Most of the hardcore feminists have been doing little other than crusading. If they admit that equality for women has been achieved, many women would be out of jobs and power as feminists. That can be the only reason feminism is still a force in the western world.

People today don’t look into what feminism has become.

    It’s that simple.

When people hear that there is such a thing as “anti-feminists” …they have a knee-jerk reaction of:

    “Why are you anti-woman?!”

They haven’t thought about the situation or researched the situation.

People that have seen what NO.W has been up to and know what types of sexism is rampant in the women’s studies curriculums and dozens of other “not so nice” things… have no trouble understanding why some take issue with that.

It’s the ones that only know the textbook definition of:

    “feminism stands for equality”

…That react so emotionally and without thought or reason.

As soon as you read about the “Dworkin” types and women like her and the fact that they’re very “influential” feminists…

you’ll start to get the picture.

Fundamentally, it isn’t, but too many of the guys who speak for masculinism exhibit strong signs of chauvinism. Just as we’re trying to get rid of our radicals, so should you.

“too many of the guys who speak for masculinism exhibit strong signs of chauvinism.”

    For example?

Women don t want men to have equality, because that would be the end of the priveleges that they enjoy for just being women.

Easy. They took a real need and wanted to fulfill it. They fought for the rights of women so they could be treated fairly. They fought and fought and got and got and now, imagine this, they want more. You know, Hitler did the same thing. The DEA does the same thing year after year (without getting too into another bs organization) They have the power and they want more. The textbook feminist definition has CHANGED. No one wants to believe this. Men are being accused abused and incarcerated by women of whom 40% admitted were under false allegations. Yet they fight for EQUALITY. This is hilarious. Look around you. Look at this very website! All I see here in these questions are men who are being treated UNEQUALLY by women (it’s funny to read a lot of the answers from women too as they are nothing more than attacks on the poster under the guise of supporting equality) asking why feminism continues its juggernaut style impact on society when women are CLEARLY being treated well above and beyond “equal”. Look at television, movies, the news. Boys and men are being told that they are useless, that they are sexual predators from birth, that they must bow before their women masters and beg for approval. Seriously. I read in one of these questions tonight where someone responded to the question with “…jealous?” And yet men are the ones branded with the insensitive label. Here is a man (who is one of many) who shouting out for equality (the VERY THING FEMINISM STRIVES FOR, REMEMBER?) and that is the type of response he receives. This is hilarious. Almost as funny as a legitimate excuse for abortion. You have your rights. So why don’t you focus on the few individual places where those rights aren’t being fulfilled? Oh, yeah…because if those didn’t exist you wouldn’t have anything to use for more propaganda to continue in your quest for inequality. This isn’t about men or women being better, this isn’t about you and me, this is about the future of our society and the supposed morals behind a movement. Those morals are gone and the sooner people who blindly (and trust me, you’d have to be blind) follow these organizations because they are too lazy to look around them realize this and actually do the right thing for once in their pitiful lives, the sooner we as a civilization can move forward.

Feminism is dead. It has no use in our society today. All you are doing is supporting the very thing you think you are fighting. Why is that so hard to see?

I personally am NOT a feminist, and I think that the whole principal is destructive to society. But, I think that the women should at least have the right to be as feminist as they want (well… except I think that they shouldn’t be in the military as the vast majority tend to be very lazy, cause problems, and get pregnant and the men are the ones that have to pull their dead weight).
I do think that women should have the equal rights, but only use them when necessary and stay home and be a wife and a mother when possible.
