It is legally bound to put its bottom line before everything else, even the public good. For a playlist of all 23 chapters in order: www.youtube.com

“Monsanto… Immaculately dressed!” I cannot hear those words and keep a straight face.
3:26 Prepare for BS!!! fucking CEO pigs… All corporations=Roman Empire.
It’s not longer about money, since they have most of it, Just look at the world economies, government and individuals are in the dumps (so to speak), yet giant baking cartels, investment firms are bailout, see record profits, etc. They want financial reform, world wide (what some call the NWO). This creates a unified world currency and finance governance under the control of the elites (those who run these corporations). As such, once this is achieved, they can control the masses.
@MysticKevin10 How so? If you look at the richest countries in the world, they have contributed 95% to today;s science and technology. They are hardworking and intelligent people. They themselves have made their lives happier and safer. Others mite have failed to do so.
@agentsback Survival of the fittiest and survival of the richest are 2 different things.
@MysticKevin10 Hey everyone is making a first world living in USA and EU. I object to your conclusion of no one being happy. Not all of us are equal with regards to intelligent, hard working ability. We are not machines, we are different from each other. So I dont think all of us shud have equal wealth. After all survival of the fittest is the nature’s rule.
@agentsback And as opposed to capitalism where your stuck in the wealth or poverty game.
Have you opened your eyes? No ones happy here. Only a few people control wealth. And nobody even has an opinion.
@MysticKevin10 As opposed to communism, where everyone is happy, wealthy and allowed to express their opinion.
@agentsback Let finish that for you: Corporations rule… your life.
Corporations rule!
this documentary talks about the public good. but if we want to judge and evaluate corporations clearly and objectively, i think we ought to be precise with the terms we use, especially one so vague as “public good”.
“To these people, there is no such thing as enough”. For a moment, I thought Michael Moore was talking the government, then I remember he’s a leftist shill.
@BelieveIt1051 It was the Hydrogen bomb actually but whos splitting hairs haha :p
If a CORPORATION is a PERSON then a PERSON is a CORPORATION.
CORPORATION = PERSON
PERSON = CORPORATION

Hi just wondering (this might sound a bit dumb) is this video a published material? Need to know for assignment thanks
did that moron actually call the Body Shop deceptive!!?? I think i could fly over to her right now and slap her in the face!!
…
I don’t follow.
We buried them in “pink slips” and teabags, and we blew up their phone boards. We marched on the mall. They called us racists and homophobes. They made crap up about us being violent and spitting on elected officials.
The only thing that will work on them is voting them the hell out, and for that we need to focus our effort on educating the voters.
I agree with you that people need to understand Federalism, States’ Rights, and Constitutional Limitations on government, and that we need to elect people who understand and respect these as well.
I understand that, and I understand that stuff like that works on politicians who want to keep their jobs, but none of that worked on this present day group of politicians, because they are focused on breaking American and remaking it into a 3rd world socialist country.
A “Corporate Personhood” amendment may actually have a more profound impact than I previously imagined–the government carries out much of its business through a corporation. The corporation is named “THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ” and has trademarked the name “THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT.”
.
Through the Soc Sec. System they have also created a corporate “YOU” (Read your SS Card). Legally speaking we never interact financially with the government–the two corporations interact.
@BelieveIt1051 Sorry about the whole “demand their sovereignty” statement–I got carried away into political rhetoric. People need to understand how decisions are made in the political system and exercise their sovereignty to make meaningful changes.
.
The way to get Congress to listen is for voters to organize EN MASSE and make their displeasure FELT in the offices of Washington. They need to get behind an issue and bury Congress in petitions and protest until they listen.
I agree with you to a point. They are still elected, and it is the voters who will change things. But what is this “demand their sovereignty”? Demand it to whom? Look at how Congress ignores and mocks the Tea Partiers, and all they are demanding is sane spending, less government control in our lives, and taxation with representation.
The most powerful force ever assembled on Earth is the atom bomb.
Yeah but how do we remove corporate influence from the government when we have a government that is influenced by corporations?
I believe the power lies within the voters. We need to get active in our respective communities and make the case for conservatism and free market capitalism. We need to get the constitutional statesmen elected, AFTER we screen our candidates and make sure they are genuine.
I don’t think the court even has that much authority.
If you make it so politicians can’t benefit from corporations, then the corporations with illegitimate interests won’t benefit but the ones with legitimate interests may.
Plus, what about individuals who lobby congress and buy congressional votes? Aren’t they just as bad? And, what about other congress people? Nancy Pelosi is reported to have twisted arms to get enough votes for Obamacare. Also, the pork for various senators. At least the corporations spend their own money.
The problem I have with banning them altogether is, where do you draw the line? Does that mean that no political group can lobby congress? Groups like the NRA, or Concerned Women for America, or Family Research Council? Or what about corporations with legitimate interests, like repealing laws that hurt all business, or needless taxes?
Ah, but if they are banned altogether, then how do they seek smaller government?
@toreyjw1
Coal/nat gas/Nuclear powered US power plants are not foreign oil.
Yeah, well, my opinion of this video is better than your opinion. So there.
Nice car. Thank you for uploading this for us to watch.
Check out what i drive. It runs on lithium .
i want one
i can’t imagine that being cost efficient in any way…
in some sense. hes still running of foreign oil. just not first hand.
an electric engine will never replace a gas engine…i mean think your life with a car that sounds like this…where are the v6s and v8s or the quad-throttle or the turbo and bov sounds?i cannot live with a car that doesn’t sing when i push the gas…i’ll go with the gas…maybe it’s slower but it’s a lot more fun than this…
@hardrock997 If you own a hybrid you will know that you can power 3 hybrids over the same distance that is required to power 1 standard ICE car. The amount of energy required to power an electric car is even less than that of a hybrid. So the end figure could be 6 to 8 ev’s, but you could get away with 10 i guess.
Gas cars are extremely inefficient. So gas lovers are actually careless of their car love simply because they are not concerned about the rate that they use their precious gas. Simple.
@insanityawakens “Wow, that 600 hp V8 sure sounds powerful way back there. Good thing my electric car is so quiet while it kicks its ass – otherwise I wouldn’t be able to hear that roar way behind me!”
@burninmunkeys Yeah. Cars don’t pollute. What are all the emission controls and catalytic converters for, ballast? Oh wait, is it a government conspiracy that invented the existence of carbon monoxide to scare us into accepting unleaded fuel? When someone turns on a car in a closed garage to off themselves, it’s not the exhaust but the team of black ops that rush in and suffocate him?
I think you better find some meds. Your “anger inside” is making it past your tinfoil helmet.
@AmpegV4 The way I see it, it’d be a trade-off. Look at all the gas stations. You think those pumps run off of sunshine?
8:08 “it can do 0-60 in just 2 seconds” WHAT THE FUCK?
Internal combustion engines are 100 year old technology! Screw the oil cartels time for electric cars all ready!
autonomie ? 5 klm ? ^^
is it really?
@sausageslaps. You have to be the stupidest human walking the planet. Power plants are going to produce energy no mater what. But take off 2 billion air poluting gas hogs from the planet and now you got something.
this is big step for all humanity.
@hardrock997 Follow the link in the Video description
@tsport100 do you have any proof to support the claims that you made that you can power 10 ev’s with the same energy required to drive just one ICE powered car
I charge it with windmill and solar pannels!
dude thats a kick ass car i don’t won’t one but its faster then hell
@sausageslaps Tsport100 is right, your really are talking out of your ass.
in the future we will all have to tank electricity.. and it will take like 15 minutes to ‘refuel’.. Great..? I would like to see how far it can drive without refuelling.
@sausageslaps Congratulations!!! You go to the top of the class in the ignorance stakes.
An ICE powered car is all of 15% energy efficient. An EV is 90% energy efficient. You CAN in fact power 10 EVs with the same energy required to drive just one ICE powered car.
stop arguing for coal, last time i checked there was no cats on coal plants. eletric cars are no damn better than gas as long as they depend on dirty sources to make that power. unless this car recharges from granola bars or the sun, its no better than gasoline
