This is the BEST Kindle book for this age group that I have seen.,
When my 3 year old daughter asked for an ereader last Christmas, she received an Android tablet with Kindle for Android (as well as other ebook applications). It seems that only recently have illustrated, color children’s books began to come to the Kindle. So I was elated to find an indie illustrated, color children’s book!
The cute, colorful pictures are great even for children that can’t yet read – they can guess the rhyme from the picture, as well as try to find the bird in each picture. The easy to read rhymes are great for new readers. The “story” itself is cute and kept my daughter hooked. This book also has much better formatting than any other illustrated children’s Kindle book I have seen.

My 3-year-old students LOVE this book! They will sit and listen for the entirety of the book, which is hard to do when the screen is so small. They love to repeat the lines. For the first couple of readings they loved to predict the rhyming word that they used.
I have two minor negative comments. The author doesn’t seem to be an American-he calls a band-aid a “sticking plaster.” That’s easily changed. Some of the rhythm gets funky, specifically the verse about the cheese and the treehouse. Like I stated, these are minor things and I would not hesitate to purchase this book.

Very cute book. Short enough that my son can remember each of the pages. He enjoys reading it to me.
