I want to go to school for wildlife biology. The college I actually want to go to even so only has zoology and wildlife ecology.. what is the big difference amongst wildlife ecology and wildlife biology?

Wildlife ecology would be learning the animals behaviours, its interspecies interactions, fundamentally studying the way the animal or organism interacts with its setting. Ecology is actually really intriguing I took a number of Ecology courses at LSU and genuinely enjoyed them. Zoology is also fascinating Im truly taking a developmental zoology course appropriate now. The latest advancements becoming made in each of these fields are exceptional good options!!

Caleb answered this well! I don’t think there’s much of a difference between these two terms, the major difference would be the curriculum for whatever school you’re looking at. The Wildlife Biology/Ecology page of any university will be able to answer exactly what classes are required for the program.
“Biology” may have you take more courses like molecular biology, anatomy and physiology etc while “Ecology” may have less biology and more upper level ecology classes (fire ecology is awesome btw).
It is a very interesting program and career choice! My degree is in Environmental Science with a concentration in wildlife ecology =)
