This video is one of my favorites by you, don’t change a thing, you can’t please everyone. For the majority I say keep it going, your creations are being shared by more and more people and I think it’s great!

@sfgregs I fully understand what the video is intended for. And I think you’ve done a great job.. I just would have thought as a science teacher that you may have understood how easily that could in fact be suggesting creationism to the impressionable minds of your students. ‘Folks who are comfortable with that idea’ could instead be benefiting from the disillusioning critical thinking skills and building upon their appreciation for evidence in the natural world.

Wow just amazing. I’m always in love with your videos haha ! I’ve only one question, what program did you use to write sentences from 1:17 to 1:40?

  • c10stjean says:

Awesome, once again you made a great presentation in the most beautiful way.

Thanks for the comment. The introductory scenes attempt to speed through the early history of earth (sun, lava, oceans, atmosphere, etc.) then flashes forward to highlight that when life appeared on Earth, it was a special presence. It is not at all intended to suggest creationism in the video, but at the same time, folks who are comfortable with that idea can also enjoy the video.

At the point of ‘creation’ sounds somewhat misleading for a bio class..
